Evaluation of They Call Us Villain

The Music CD Cover was probably my easiest project to do because I was once in a band with my best friend, so we already had a band name and few songs. The graphic was something to think about. Our name was They Call Us Villain, so I wanted to try to find something visual that pertained to our name. That is why I chose to find a picture of the Disney Villain Characters. It pertained to the name and also gave a nice visual appeal to the page. I wanted to make the page dark to make it flow in with the title. Normally when someone thinks of villains, they think of dark, dreary, and not very bright or fun. I therefore added a kind of dark background to it, also to match the colors in the picture. This was for the front cover. For the back cover I decided to make the whole picture the background. It was a different picture of the villains, out of the few chosen ones. I did not want to take away from the title of the song names. I chose to use a plain font for the song titles because I did not want to take away from them. I also chose to put them in a slanted way because I wanted to add a little design to the CD. Also, I thought it would catch the reader’s eye and have a good visual appeal to it.
